Glyphosate is the most widely used pesticide in the world. It is known by its brand name ROUNDUP and is primarily manufactured by Monsanto/ Bayer. IN 2014 The Church of Stop Shopping began researching the use of Glyphosate by public agencies like parks and schools.
Scientific studies have found glyphosate to cause non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and other cancers, birth defects, and celiac disease, allergies, asthma, and chronic fatigue syndrome. Glyphosate is persistent in body tissue, blood and breast milk in humans. Exposure to RoundUp has caused pregnancy problems, including stillbirths.
